Marquis of Sant Mori sofa.
This sofa is not a Gaudi design.
Sofa of three sits mahogany, bronze and cordovans.Entrust in the 50 for the Marquis of Sant Mori with the aim of accommodating his style with the furniture created by Gaudi for the Salon Noble of the Güell Palace that was on his Gerona’s castle. Inherited from his grandmother Mercedes Güell.
Mercedes inherited the Güell palace from her father the Count of Güell and she will hand it over to the Barcelona Diputación for a modest rental fee.
She will keep most of the of the original furniture from tthe Palace Güell
This particular furniture is now in the Güell palace acquired recently (2001) by the Barcelona deputation.
